Updated on September 11, 2023, by Henry Whiting: FPS Roblox games have enjoyed a surge in prominence recently; these rises in popularity are common with notable genres like FPS as they have many games that regularly drift in and out of popularity, whether it be from a game getting a new update or simply being discovered by more players. As such, this list of the best Roblox FPSgames has been updated to include more information to help players decide what to play next, as well as a few new entries for good measure.
12 Rolling Thunder
An FPS shooter set in the Vietnam War times, Rolling Thunder features large-scale fights with up to 25 players in each team, delivering a very similar gameplay style to the Battlefield games. In fact, Rolling Thunder has modes such as Conquest, Invasion, and Domination, which are all modes where players must capture and hold zones of the map for a period of time until the maximum score is hit.
This is very similar to Battlefield’s Conquest game mode or Operations game mode, with the inspiration being clear in Rolling Thunder. Players can pick from 4 classes, including Marksman, Assault, Specialist, and Support, all of which have their own available gun selection and abilities, such as the Support class being able to drop health boxes for teammates.
11 Phantom Forces
With a grand total of 15 maps, Phantom Forces by StyLiS Studios delivers a classic boots-to-the-ground FPS experience. Players play as either a “Phantom” or as a “Ghost,” which are the two playable factions in the game. Each team has specific spawn locations and colors, with the Phantom’s being blue and the Ghost’s being orange.
Phantom Forces has many attributes that make it similar to an AAA FPS game, with mechanics such as bullet drop, a higher quality of graphics for a Roblox game, and a multitude of in-depth weapons, giving it a very impressive look. Each gun has its own mechanics orchestrated specifically for that gun, making Phantom Forces feel like a more in-depth and realistic shooter.
10 Arsenal
A well-renowned Roblox FPS game, Arsenal by the ROLVe Community is one of the most popular games on Roblox. Filled with a huge range of guns, maps, and fun skins, Arsenal is an arcade FPS shooter that is essentially the same as Gun Game from Call of Duty. Players race to 32 kills, with players getting a new gun every time that they get either a kill or assist. These guns consist of ARs, shotguns, snipers, pistols, and more, with the final two weapons being a Golden Gun and a Golden Knife, respectively. Once a player gets a kill with the Golden Knife, the game is over, and that player wins.
Arsenal supplies players with fast-paced action, an experience of many different gun types, and a competitive atmosphere that certainly gets hearts racing. Players must be wary as if they get killed, they will go back to their previous gun, thus being further away from winning the whole game.
9 BIG Paintball!
A game that switches bullets for paint pellets, this E for everyone take on an FPS shooter is no doubt a popular choice for Roblox players, racking up a total of 1.4 billion visits since its launch in 2019. Free-For-All has 5 dedicated maps, and King Of The Hill only has 2 maps. What’s unique about BIG Paintball! is that players can also use abilities alongside guns; with 8 available abilities, players can get very creative in BIG Paintball!
8 Aimblox
Created by Aim Lab, Aimblox has two main options for gameplay: Aim Training and Combat Mode. Aim Training is pretty self-explanatory, with a bundle of different tests and challenges to choose from. Players will usually pick this mode to practice their skills and aim accuracy, but it is also a fun mode with a mini-game feel to it.
Combat Mode is in the more recognizable PVP format, with a futuristic game design mixed with classic guns and gameplay. There are 5 game modes within Combat Mode, such as Competitive, Space Snipers, Gun Game, Randomizer, and Owned Guns. With around 70 weapons to choose from, players have endless options and will never run out of new guns to try.
7 Counter Blox
Another highly popular game created by ROLVe Community, Counter Blox is essentially the Roblox version of the well-known 5v5 PVP shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Just like in Counter-Strike and Valorant, players buy weapons before each round, with the number of kills and round wins being the determining factors for how much money players will have at the beginning of the next round.
Players have to either eliminate the whole opposing team or plant the bomb without the opposing team defusing it. Counter Blox doesn’t have popular modes such as Team Deathmatch or Free For All; however, with 5v5 style games like Valorant and Counter-Strike being extremely popular, Counter Blox is one of the more played FPS games on Roblox, with a total of 990.7 million visits.
6 Energy Assault
A futuristic shooter that could be described as the Roblox interpretation of Halo, Energy Assault is a fun FPS shooter that also supports VR play. Energy Assault by TypicalType has 6 different game modes. This consists of 4 classic and recognizable modes, which are Team Deathmatch, Free For All, Domination, and Capture The Flag, and 3 more unique or party-like modes.

The 3 other party-style modes are:
5 Bad Business
A fast-paced FPS shooter with bundles of different maps and game modes, Bad Business sends the player straight into the action with solid game mechanics and design that is impressive for a Roblox-built game. Players can customize their loadout, outfit, and more in the menus, which adds something different to the pure FPS gameplay.
The game modes consist of classics like Team Deathmatch, Free-For-All, and Domination, alongside party-style modes such as Gun Game, Randomizer, and Infection. Bad Business has a good balance of an arcade-like style and a more realistic feel, which is shown through the varied game mode options. This, combined with the 21 maps available, makes for a solid Roblox FPS game.
4 Entry Point
A Payday 2-inspired FPS that allows players to take on PvE missions in groups of 4, Entry Point is a nice change-of-pace FPS shooter that has more than just shooting and killing the enemy. Entry Point supplies fun storylines and setups that create more tension and meaning in the game, as opposed to a classic FPS style of game.
Entry Point also has a more traditional option for those who prefer the classic modes in FPS games, with its Shadow War game mode. This mode is in a simple PvP deathmatch format, which is fun, however, the main game mode of missions is by far the best element of Entry Point, with cut scenes, character customization, and many more unique and impressive features.
3 Polybattle
The Roblox FPS game with the closest similarities to Battlefield, Polybattle is a shooter designed in the low-poly style, where players fight in teams of large-scale proportions. Polybattle is played in the style of Battlefield’s iconic Conquest game mode, with multiple different capture points being needed to secure a win.
Players can use a wide range of weapons and classes when fighting across the 12 different maps, which range from harsh deserts to snowy tundras and more. Players can even utilize a long list of vehicles, such as tanks, helicopters, military boats, and armored trucks. Polybattle, being a large-scale warfare game, means that it requires more strategy and patience compared to other Roblox FPS games, so keep that in mind when picking a game to play.
2 Foam Frenzy
Essentially a family-friendly version of a traditional FPS game, Foam Frenzy puts toy guns in the hands of the players, allowing players to knock each other out as opposed to killing them, making for a much more pleasant and light-hearted FPS game. Foam Frenzy isn’t known for its realism, with it being a pure arcade style of gameplay.
The game has only one mode, with the player being sent into a Team Deathmatch-like mode, where players gain abilities by gaining killstreaks. These abilities consist of things like nukes and special weapons, adding another fun element to this crazy FPS game. Foam Frenzy is perfect for those looking for a rather chaotic but fun FPS game.
1 Frontlines
The game which has the closest resemblance to Call of Duty is no doubt Frontlines. Created by MAXIMILLIAN, Frontlines delivers very impressive graphics for Roblox standards, with in-depth gun design, a high-quality HUD setup, and advanced mechanics that make the game smooth and fun. Frontlines has game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and King Of The Hill.
Although this game is more realistic than others, Frontlines doesn’t slack in terms of creating that arcade feel that many of today’s FPS games lack. With fast-paced combat combined with impressive customization options, Frontlines is one of the Roblox FPS games that is a genuine alternative option to something like Call Of Duty. This game isn’t as well-known or established as Arsenal, with its launch being only in March 2023; however, it has rocketed up the rankings, already having 159,000 likes and 21.9 million visits.
Robloxis available on Xbox One, PC, and Mobile.
