Dillian Whyte rips into Daniel Dubois for ‘quitting’ against Joe Joyce, calls him and promoter Frank Warren ‘c***s’ in stunning rant

Dillian Whyte has blasted Daniel Dubois and his promoter Frank Warren in a stunning rant following Dubois’ defeat to Joe Joyce on Saturday night in London.

The heavyweight contender had an eye on the highly anticipated contest which featured two of the best rising heavyweights in the country.

Dubois was stopped by Joyce after deciding to take a knee

The fight began with some closely contested rounds in which both men had their moments.

Dubois appeared to hurt Joyce on occasion, but was often kept at bay by the more experienced man’s jab.

This ‘Juggernaut’ jab ultimately caused severe injury to Dubois and forced his left eye to swell shut by the halfway stage.

In round ten, it all got too much for the 23-year-old who took a knee and sat out the ten count.

Whyte had previously been targeted by Warren as a potential opponent for Dubois, something he has clearly taken exception to.

He reacted post-fight: “I ain’t got nothing to say, man. I ain’t got nothing to say. Man’s out here quitting.

“Man’s out here quitting in mid-fight. S***. Man’s out here quitting mid-fight.

“They were saying they wanna fight me and they were gonna knock me out.

The jab was the key to victory

“One thing with me, no quit, straight warrior.

“If I’m losing, I’m getting knocked out. Straight warrior, straight warrior.

“And these cowards wanna mention [me]. F***ing fish eyes and Daniel Dubois, c***s.”

The ‘fish eyes’ comments appears to be intended as an insulting reference to Dubois’ promoter Warren.

Tyson Fury has also given his reaction.

He posted an Instagram story which said: “Massive congratulations to my bro Joe Joyce.

“Brilliant performance, great boxing display.

“Boxing is a heart sport.”
