Eagles’ Devon Allen: Bumps up from practice squad

Allen was elevated from the Eagles’ practice squad to the active roster ahead of Monday’s game against the Buccaneers.

This comes after the Eagles ruled out Quez Watkins (hamstring) out for Monday’s contest. Allen joined Philadelphia’s practice squad on Aug. 30 after being cut by the team the day before. If he’s active, he could operate in a depth role at wide receiver and on special teams.
