Bears Twitter fed up with Luke Getsy’s playcalling vs. Packers

The Chicago Bears offense had a brutal first half against the Green Bay Packers, where they mustered just six points and failed to execute on some brutal drives.

While penalties and miscues have plagued Chicago’s offense, offensive coordinator Luke Getsy’s playcalling has been a big contributor to failed drives.

As you can imagine, Bears fans were fuming about Getsy’s repeated use of failed screens and run calls, where quarterback Justin Fields hasn’t been given an opportunity to stretch the field vertically.

Chicago trails 10-6 at halftime, where it’s clear they have plenty of adjustments to make before the final 30 minutes of play. Whether those adjustments are made remains to be seen. But it’s been another ugly showing about Green Bay to kick off the 2023 NFL season.
