Havertz #Havertz

Kai Havertz is yet to score his first Arsenal goal since joining the club from Chelsea in the summer, and he probably should have had one in the early stages of Sunday’s clash with Manchester United.

A Gabriel Martinelli cross came in from the left and the ball found its way to Havertz via the head of United defender Diogo Dalot.

But perhaps the German wasn’t expecting it to land at his feet 10 yards from goal, and he sliced his shot horribly, prompting groans from the home fans.

The 24-year-old hasn’t exactly made a blistering start to his Gunners career and his doubters were given even more ammunition when he sloppily gave the ball away in the build-up to Marcus Rashford’s goal to open the scoring a few minutes later.

But thankfully for Havertz, Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard soon levelled the scores.
