Luton will finally play their first-ever Premier League home game this evening as they welcome West Ham.

And it is now ready to welcome the Hammers for its first game, live and exclusively on talkSPORT.
The Hatters have lost their opening two Premier League games, losing 4-1 to Brighton and 3-0 to Chelsea, but they will feel confident of getting a win at home.
However, their opponents are flying.
David Moyes’ men currently sit second and are unbeaten from their opening three matches, securing wins over Chelsea and Brighton.

This is the first meeting in any competition between Luton and West Ham since March 1994, and a 3-2 home win for the Hatters in an FA Cup quarter-final replay.
West Ham are winless in their last four meetings with Luton in all competitions (D2 L2). However, their last win against them was in their last top-flight meeting, a 1-0 away victory in January 1992.
After losing both of their Premier League matches this season, Luton could suffer defeats in each of their opening three matches of league campaign for just a fifth time in their Football League history, after 1927-28, 1935-36, 1996-97, and 2002-03 (all in the third tier).
Both of West Ham’s last two Premier League games have been 3-1 wins for the Hammers. David Moyes’ side last won three consecutive league matches in January 2022, while not since August 2021 have they scored 3+ goals in three consecutive top-flight matches (a run of 4).
This is Luton’s first top-flight home game since April 1992, and a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa. The Hatters are unbeaten in their last eight at Kenilworth Road in the top division (W5 D3), with West Ham the last side to beat them (1-0 in January 1992).
Luton have so far lost 4-1 against Brighton and 3-0 against Chelsea in the Premier League this season. The only team to lose their first three matches in a top-flight season by 3+ goals are West Bromwich Albion, who did so in 1890-91.
A victory for West Ham would see them finish the day top of the Premier League table. It would be the first time they’ve led the top-flight having played at least four games since 14th October 1983 (8 games played).
West Ham boss David Moyes has never lost in seven meetings with Luton in all competitions (W6 D1), only facing Wrexham more often without ever losing in his managerial career (9). This is his first meeting with the Hatters since a 1-0 win at Kenilworth Road in the 2006-07 League Cup with Everton.
Jarrod Bowen has scored in both of West Ham’s Premier League away games so far this season – the last player to score in each of the Hammers’ first three top-flight away games in a season was the club’s all-time top scorer Vic Watson in 1930-31.
James Ward-Prowse has been involved in three goals in his two Premier League games for West Ham so far (1 goal, 2 assists), while overall he’s been involved in seven goals in his last six appearances in the competition (3 goals, 4 assists).
