CELTIC loan target Nat Phillips is primed to bring a bit of star power to the Hoops backline.

Not only is he the son of a former RANGERS star – but he’s currently dating the daughter of former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher.

Phillips is in a relationship with Molly Moorish Gallagher, who is the daughter of rock star Liam and Kill City lead singer Lisa Moorish.

It’s thought her dad had an affair with the singer when married to Patsy Kensit.

On May 23, 2018, Liam shared a pic on Instagram of himself with Molly and his two sons Gene and Lennon.

Nat and Molly went public back in 2022 when she shared a sweet Instagram snap showing her support for the Liverpool player with her followers in May.

Molly also showed her support for Nathaniel when he helped loan club Bournemouth get promoted to the Premier League, writing: “Big fan of your work.”

The pair appear together in many public events – and were recently snapped hanging out with Brookyn Beckham and pals.

And the loved-up couple shared snaps of themselves on a recent sunkissed holiday in Jamaica.

Nat Phillips also brings experience of Scottish football with him to Glasgow – albeit on the other side of the Old Firm divide.

Nat’s dad Jimmy Phillips played under Graeme Souness at Rangers between 1987 and 1998, playing 25 times in the league.

Phillips Snr went on to grace Oxford United and Middlesbrough as well as TWO spells at Bolton Wanderers – with the Hoops even were the opponents for the star’s testimonial.

Jimmy Phillips then went on to become part of the furniture at the Reebok Stadium, serving as caretaker manager on no fewer than three ocassions.

The chance to play regularly at Celtic Park will be a blessing to the 6ft3in centre half who has been part of the furniture at Liverpool for five years – but has struggled for game time.

But when the Reds were rocked by a defensive crisis of their own in the 2020/21 campaign, Phillips featured regularly and played 20 times that season.

He kept Rangers star Ben Davies out of the team during that period, with the current Ibrox star signed from Preston amid the injury woes at Anfield.

However, he’s played just a further eight times for Liverpool since with first team chances more and more limited.

He spent 2019/20 on loan in Germany with Stuttgart prior to his Reds breakthrough and played 17 times for Bournemouth in the Championship in 2021/22.

Philips has also attracted interest from English clubs this transfer window, with Middlesbrough keen to take him on-loan.
