Richarlison was sent off in the Merseyside derby last month with Everton then losing their next three games without him.
The 23-year-old returned to the starting line-up at Craven Cottage and helped set up a goal just 42 seconds into the game.
He jumped on a mistake by the home side and fired a dangerous ball into the six-yard box.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin was on hand to bundle the ball into the back of the net to score the fastest goal of the Premier League season.

It was the England international’s ninth goal of the 2020/21 season.
Their lead did not last long, though, with Bobby Decordova-Reid getting his side back on level terms in the 15th minute with a neat finish past Jordan Pickford.
