Jimmie Ward has always enjoyed the fight to prove he’s a special player. He didn’t get the same offers out of high school because he was smaller than others, but he always put in the extra work to make sure he stood out. Drafted on his mother’s birthday, Ward joined the Texans in the offseason to help DeMeco Ryans build something special in H-Town.
