The Carolina Panthers are hoping Week 2 of the preseason brings a better result against New York’s other team. They were shellacked 27-0 against the Jets in Week 1, allowing five sacks and going 3-for-11 on first downs.
By all accounts, it was a dismal performance, and one Carolina will look to move on from against the Giants.
New York also dropped its preseason opener, falling 21-16 to Detroit.
