Manchester United winger Daniel James gave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a timely reminder of his quality with a sensational goal in Wales’ Nations League clash against Finland.
The winger moved to Old Trafford in 2019 and hit the ground running with three goals in four games for the Red Devils.
James’ good form continued into the winter but 2020 has been a difficult year for the Welshman and he’s no longer a first-team regular for United.
Linking up with Wales has given James the respite he’s needed in recent months, as he’s often afforded 90 minutes by manager Ryan Giggs.
And James reminded Solskjaer of what he can do with a simply stunning goal in Wales’ clash with Finland in Cardiff when he smashed home a brilliant strike from 20 yards.

James swivilled on the edge of the box before unleashing an unstoppable strike into the top corner and the relief was written all over the winger’s face as he wheeled away to celebrate.
The former Swansea forward will be hoping he’s done enough to feature as United take on West Brom on Saturday in their first game back after the international break.
United went into the break with a much-needed 3-1 win against Everton, which relieved the pressure on Solskjaer’s position.
The Norwegian will be worried about what condition his players will be in when they return, with Anthony Martial suffering from a back problem on France duty.
Luke Shaw is out for at least another three weeks, while Alex Telles must post another negative coronavirus test before he can play again.
