Love Island’s Mehdi Edno has revealed that he still wants to take Whitney Adebayo on a date outside of the villa.
As viewers will recall, Mehdi was coupled up with Whitney for the majority of his time on the show, before a shock public vote saw their romance come to an abrupt end after he was dumped from the villa.
Now, in an interview with Digital Spy, Mehdi has reflected on his time with Whitney and revealed what he wants for the pair after the series ends.

When asked if he had any hopes for the two of them once Whitney exits the villa, the Frenchman replied: “Yes I do, I feel like we owe each other a date on the outside.
“I feel like we’ll be more comfortable and we will enjoy more than the ones in the villa, definitely.”
He went on to name Whitney as someone he couldn’t wait to catch up with after the show ended, joking that they had a “date pending”.
While the pair didn’t have the smoothest time together in the villa, this isn’t the first time Mehdi has spoken about his hopes for a future romance with Whitney outside of the show.

Following Mehdi’s exit, Whitney has been open to new connections, finding herself in a short-lived love triangle with Zachariah Noble and Kady McDermott, before finding a connection in Casa Amor with new boy Lochan Nowacki.
