Yankees player props: How to bet on Gerrit Cole prop oddsGerrit Cole player props odds: Over 6.5 strikeouts (-127 or better)

Cole owns a slightly-lower-than-usual 9.5 K/9, but he’s still recorded more than 6.5 strikeouts in six of his 13 starts. He also has a 10.3 K/9 at Yankee Stadium specifically.

He’s facing a Red Sox team that’s struck out at a 25.9 percent clip against right-handers on the road over the last month, one whose current bats have struck out on 27 occasions against him in 94 career encounters.

With the stakes and adrenaline always a bit higher for Red Sox-Yankees clashes, Cole could well have a bit extra swing-and-miss juice in his powerful fastball Friday night.

Mets player props: How to bet on Pete Alonso, Starling Marte player propsPete Alonso player props: Pete Alonso over 0.5 RBI (-139 or better)

Note: Pete Alonso’s status is currently up in the air as we await word on his hand/wrist MRI.

Alonso always has a good opportunity for RBI with the likes of Brandon Nimmo and Jeff McNeil – who have OBPs of .374 and .356, respectively — hitting ahead of him.

The prodigious slugger is hitting .262 with men on base (.268 with runners in scoring position specifically), and 15 of his 22 homers this season have come in those scenarios.

Pirates southpaw Rich Hill has also given up a .288 average and .375 wOBA to right-handed hitters at home as well while allowing a 1.7 HR/9 and 5.14 FIP in that split.

Finally, consider Hill has pitched to a 5.00 ERA and .284 BAA in 36 home innings, furthering Alonso’s case.

Mets player props: Starling Marte over 0.5 stolen bases (+240 or better)

Marte sports an 85.0 percent success rate (17-for-20) in stolen bases this season, and he checks in with a solid .326 on-base percentage over his last 12 games.

Hill’s vulnerabilities against right-handed hitters were already discussed in Alonso’s entry, and the southpaw has given up 21 stolen bases at a 72.4 percent success rate since 2019.

Marte also has a .308 average and .348 on-base percentage against southpaws this season (71 plate appearances), while 10 of his 17 steals have come on the road.
