HIS FEET AND LOOKS LIKE IT’S GOING TO BE GREAT WEATHER FOR HIM IF HE DECIDES TO GO OUTSIDE TODAY. BUT FOR THE REST OF US PLANNING BREAKFAST, ALSO A GOOD DAY TO GO OUTSIDE, JASON. IT IS, YEAH. MAYBE TAKE THAT BREAKFAST OUTSIDE. I MEAN, IT JUST JUST A BEAUTIFUL STRETCH OF WEATHER WE’VE GOT INTO THE WEEKEND HERE. IF YOU ARE HEADED OUT TO SOMERSET WINERY, THEY’VE GOT SUNDAY TUNES GOING ON. — DANGER BANDS PLAYING NOW IT LOOKS LOOKS PERFECT FOR THAT. WE’VE GOT LOW TO MID 80S OUT THERE ALONG WITH SUNSHINE. THAT SUN IS RISING, PUTTING ON A LITTLE BIT OF A SHOW. WE’RE AT 55 DEGREES BREEZE OUT OF THE EAST SIX MILES PER HOUR. SO IT’S NOT GOING TO TRY AND PUSH YOU AROUND AT ALL. IF YOU HEAD OUTSIDE. 46 FOR ATLANTIC AMES AT 47, MASON CITY COMING IN AT 55. WE ARE WORKING WITH SOME CLOUD COVER TO THE NORTHEAST, BUT IT’S NOT SPITTING OUT ANY RAIN. SO JUST SOME BRIEFLY OVERCAST SKIES FOR SOME FOLKS. AND I DO THINK WE’LL BE CONTENDING WITH AT LEAST SOME CLOUD COVER AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE DAY. 85 FOR WEST DES MOINES TODAY. PLEASANT HILL AT 84. YOU CAN SEE THOSE SKIES IS GOING TO BE CLEAR FOR MANY OF US, THOUGH, AGAIN, WE COULD SEE SOME PATCHY CLOUD COVER THROUGHOUT THE DAY. TEMPERATURES CLIMBING BACK UP INTO THE MIDDLE 80S AFTER WE START OFF IN THE MIDDLE 50S NOTICE THAT PATCH OF CLOUDS KIND OF DISPERSES A BIT THROUGH NOON, BUT WE STILL HAVE SOME AREAS WITH CLOUDS WINS THOUGH STAYING VERY LIGHT AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON. BY EVENING, THOUGH, THOSE STRENGTHEN A LITTLE BIT OUT OF THE SOUTHEAST. THAT’S GOING TO HELP TO BOLSTER THAT TEMPERATURE AS WE HEAD INTO YOUR MEMORIAL DAY. THAT IS GOING TO MEAN BACK INTO THE MID TO UPPER 80S. YOU CAN SEE SHOWER CHANCES TRY TO WORK THEIR WAY INTO THE NORTHWEST. COULD WE SEE AN ISOLATED SHOWER UPWARDS TOWARDS KOSSUTH COUNTY PERHAPS? I THINK THERE’S BETTER CHANCES THAT WE DON’T. BUT AS WE HEAD IN TOWARDS NEXT WEEK, CONTINUE TO SEE AT LEAST SOME ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWER ACTIVITY, ESPECIALLY THROUGH THAT WESTERN PORTION OF THE STATE. SO WE’LL HAVE TO KEEP AN EYE ON THAT. BUT MAKE SURE YOU GET OUT AND ENJOY THE DAY. IF YOU’RE HEADED OUT TO VALLEY DRIVE IN TONIGHT, IT LOOKS PERFECT. 76 BY 8 P.M., WE’RE DOWN TO 71. BY 9 P.M. AS WE PUT TOGETHER AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL DAY AND EVENING FOR YOUR SUNDAY AND MEMORIAL DAY. AGAIN, A COUPLE DEGREES WARMER. WE’RE AT 87 THERE, CONTINUING TO BUILD IN THAT WARMTH AS WE HEAD INTO THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. AGAIN, THAT’S WHEN WE START TO WORK IN SOME CHANCES FOR ISOLATED SHOWERS AND STORMS. BUT ALONG WITH THAT COMES THE HEAT. WE’RE BACK TO 90 DEGREES ON THURSDAY AND WE HOLD STEADY RIGHT AROUND THERE INTO THE

The warm up for our holiday weekend is in full swing. Temperatures today climb into the middle 80s and will see abundant sunshine to go along with that. From here we get even warmer with mid to upper 80s on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and highs approaching, and possibly eclipsing and the 90°-mark next week. Precipitation chances are low though we could see a spotty shower or thunderstorm through off and on week. We’re not tracking any large weather systems however, as we’ll continued to stay in a stagnant weather pattern into next week.
