The offensive struggles have continued into Game 3 for Lakers point guard D’Angelo Russell.

So far in the Western Conference Finals, the former No. 2 pick is averaging just 9 PPG on 36.8-percent from the field and 12.5-percent from deep. And to start Saturday night’s action, Russell is just 1-for-6 while also having issues on the defensive end with Jamal Murray.

The sports world reacted to D-Lo’s performance on Twitter.

“If we see D’Angelo Russell to start the 2nd half, we might need to submit Darvin Ham for a mental evaluation,” Lakers Daily said.

“D’Angelo Russell trying to cover Jamal Murray,” BetMGM commented.

“Lakers gotta get D’Angelo Russell outta the game,” tweeted Matt Hladik.

“Russell Westbrook watching D’Angelo Russell become unplayable,” FanDuel posted.

“I understand the concern the Lakers might lose D’Angelo Russell if they bench him … But they’re about to lose this series by sticking with him, and as a free agent there’s no guarantee Russell will even be on the roster beyond that,” said Kevin Pelton.

“Time for the Lakers to lose D’Angelo Russell…” tweeted The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor.

The Lakers find themselves within four with less than four remaining in the third.
