Eagles to host the Giants on Christmas Day

The Eagles will be home on Christmas Day, and football will be played, as the NFL announced Lincoln Financial Field would be the place.

Philadelphia swept their division rivals last season — a 48-22 Week 14 win and a 22-16 Week 18 win in which the Giants rested many starters.

The NFL has scheduled six Christmas games over the past three years- one in 2020, two in 2021, and three in 2022- and they all registered massive TV ratings while competing against the NBA’s host of games on that same day.

The Monday games will be staggered throughout the day, with kickoff times at 1 p.m. ET, 4:30 p.m. ET and 8:20 p.m. ET.
