Jamie Vardy marks Leicester return with vintage goal against Everton 😎 | OneFootball
Vardy #Vardy
Jamie Vardy produced a moment of brilliance on his Leicester City return to take the lead against Everton.
The former England striker had not featured for Dean Smith’s side since suffering a knee injury prior to his inclusion on Monday.
But back in the Foxes’ frontline, Vardy turned back the clock to give his side a first-half lead with a superb individual effort.
James Maddison’s inch-perfect through ball was picked up perfectly in stride by a blistering Vardy, who rounded Jordan Pickford.
The Leicester legend is now the third-highest active scorer in the league (136) only behind Mo Salah (137) and Harry Kane (208).
Class really is permanent!
