Julian Alvarez scored a stunning goal for Manchester City against Fulham on Sunday.
The 23-year-old was handed a rare start at Craven Cottage after City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne had picked up an injury earlier in the week.
Alvarez grabbed his opportunity to shine with both hands.
He won a penalty kick that was converted by Erling Haaland for City’s opening goal in the third minute.
But Alvarez’s moment of the game arrived in the 36th minute when he beat Fulham keeper Bernd Leno with a stunning dipping shot from long range.
His superb strike came moments after he had got the better of Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha with some fancy foot work.
Alvarez has now scored 15 goals for City in all competitions since arriving from River Plate in July.
