CINCINNATI — Potential Cincinnati Bengals draft pick Michael Mayer would love to play for his hometown team.
The consensus top tight end in the 2023 NFL Draft attended Covington Catholic High School before starring at Notre Dame.
Fox19’s Joe Danneman caught up with Mayer at Cov Cath recently to gauge his thoughts on all things NFL Draft. Mayer sees a lot of himself in Joe Burrow.
“I love the way that he approaches the game,” Mayer said. “I love the way he plays the game. He reminds me a lot of me, his intensity.”
