The Golden State Warriors will have the best player on the court tonight.
The most anticipated matchup of tonight’s playoff slate is no doubt the game between the Golden State Warriors vs the Sacramento Kings.
Fortunately for the Golden State Warriors, Steph Curry is listed as available to play. That means the Warriors will have the best player on the court during the game.
Even though it’s only Game 1 between the Warriors and Kings, it’s very imperative that the Warriors win this game or at least one game on the road. It’s no secret at this point, but the Warriors have the 3rd worst road record in the western conference and the worst road record in defending champion history. The Sacramento Kings have a solid home record at 23-18, but it’s nothing spectacular despite how amazing their crowd is. If the Warriors can win an early game on the road, it’ll really get the monkey off their back that they can’t win on the road.
On most days, the Warriors will win a track meet against whoever they go against, but that won’t be the case against the Sacramento Kings. The Warriors should not find themselves in a track meet against the Kings, especially because the Kings have a better offense. What the Warriors will need to win this matchup is their defense.
The Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings face off at 8:30 pm ET tonight.
