According to ESPN, the former Auburn star “will likely” be available.
This is the first time the franchise has made the NBA Playoffs since the 2018 season when they still had LeBron James on the roster.
The Cavs finished as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference and had a 51-31 record.
They went 7-3 over their final ten games of the regular season and are a sensational 31-10 in the 41 games they have hosted on their home floor in Ohio.
Despite this being their first time in the playoffs in four seasons, the Cavs have the talent to make a deep run.
Over the offseason, they traded for All-Star guard Donovan Mitchell and he has been arguably a top-ten player in the NBA this season.
As for the Knicks, they are the fifth seed in the east with a 45-37 record and have been good on the road, going 24-17 in 41 games played away from Madison Square Garden.
They were the fourth seed in 2021 but missed the playoffs during the 2022 season.
The two teams faced off four times during the regular season, and the Knicks went 3-1 (they also won each of the last three contests).
