But even though Easter is significantly commercialized in stores and society in general, its origin is rooted in the Bible as it celebrates Jesus being raised from the dead and defeating sin and death! The Christian faith is structured around the foundation of Christ’s death on the cross and subsequent resurrection. Jesus was sent from Heaven into the world to ultimately die for the sins of those who believe and offer salvation through His sacrifice.
