Comedian and podcaster Theo Von (@theovon), known for his authentic and unpredictable personality, has contributed to the TikTok ecosystem once again.
Von, who has 4.5 million followers on TikTok and gets millions of views on his videos, posted a video in late 2022 that is now getting traction as a trending sound.
In his post, Von claimed he didn’t know what he was talking about and thanked his fans for being supportive of him despite that fact. The sound was posted by Von’s official page and now has over 16,000 videos attached to it.
“I don’t know what I’m talking about, and I never have,” said Von in the video.
Now, TikTokers are taking Von’s words and telling the world that they don’t know what they’re talking about in multiple subjects.
“When a customer asks me a question but it’s out of my normal script,” said @a.big.ayle in her post.
The interaction between server and customer can be extremely routine, which some people actually prefer.
“Like … just be an NPC like everyone else… I had a script made specifically for this,” replied @zaytashon.
Furthermore, some TikTokers are simply admitting that they knowingly lie to their friends.
“Me after giving a 10 minute speech about a fake fact because lying to my friends is the funniest thing in the world,” wrote @notmasanthefootman.
Apparently, this is a regular occurrence for people in their friend groups.
“I love to gaslight,” said @calebkennedy30.
“I always tell them when I’m lying after but there’s something magical about ‘oh yea dude that really happened,’” replied @jonarbucklestastya**.
Whether you’re embracing telling a lie or are caught with nothing to say, Theo Von has the perfect words to get you through the moment.
