While former President Donald Trump traveled from Florida to New York City where he is being arraigned on 30-plus felony charges, friend and MAGA supporter — singer Kid Rock — released the video below.
In the beginning of the video, Kid Rock’s back is facing the camera to reveal his MAGA baseball hat. When he turns to the camera, he says, “Grandpa’s feeling a little frisky today.”
He adds, “Let me say something as clear and concise as possible,” and then raises an automatic rifle and shoots a tableful of Bud Light cases. The 52-year-old country pop entertainer turns to the camera again, “flips the bird,” and says, “f–k Budweiser, and f–k Anheuser-Busch.”
Although Kid Rock doesn’t say so overtly in the video, media sources say he is responding to Anheuser-Busch defending its decision to enlist trans activist and influencer Dylan Mulvaney as a Bud Light brand influencer.
Now owned by AB InBev, Anheuser-Busch, and particularly Budweiser, have long been American icons as commercial brands.
Many fans are replying with “God bless America” comments and suggest that Kid Rock ban the sale of Anheuser-Busch products at his concert. When one fan pointed out that Kid Rock can’t ban the sale of anything at a venue he doesn’t own, another fan suggest that he ban those venues that won’t heed to the request.
Other fans aren’t impressed with the video content. As one replied: “So you wasted your money to buy 3 cases of beer (that went to the company) to make a point Dude just write a post. You’re SO xtra for no reason.”
