Eric Crouch: Yeah, it’s been a crazy year in all phases. Work, sports, and life in general. But pretty good, man, family is healthy, business is going good, so no complaints.
Adam Carriker: Awesome. So we’re very early in the season with a limited amount of games, but what have you seen from the Huskers so far this season?
Eric Crouch: Offensively speaking, I think there’s room for a lot of improvement, but I’ve seen some good energy from them. I think that’s key to come out and feel like you’ve got something. I’ve seen good spirits and we have some guys who are playmakers and tough guys. If we’re talking offense, you have to get the ball across the goal line and score points. Obviously limited exposure this year, but lots of opportunity, and as this team knows, lots of growth right in front of them. I’m just as excited to watch their growth as anyone else.
Adam Carriker: You’ve talked about some of those positive things with the energy and enthusiasm, but what are some of those areas they need to grow that you’ve seen?
Eric Crouch: Yeah, I think just tempo with the offense, continuing to move the ball, not getting sacked or having a bad play that ruins momentum. They’ll have a great play, Adrian will make a play in the air or with his feet and the next play is a sack, dropped pass, or a scramble that just doesn’t go well. Getting into a rhythm is something that needs to be improved on for our offense to be successful.
