Today is one of those days where you need that layer in the morning and then just grab *** nice T shirt by the afternoon. We have another gorgeous spring day today. Good Wednesday morning to you. I majestic storm and look at how beautiful the day looks ahead. We’ll have plenty of sunshine temperatures this morning. They are cold though. We’re waking up the temperatures into the thirties and some forties. So you’ll want that layer by the afternoon, really mid to upper sixties in the River Valley in Northwest Arkansas, clear sunny skies, low 60 degree temperatures *** great day to get outside and soak up some of that sunshine before we really start to see some changes. Now, for your Thursday, the majority of the day, it’s going to be just fine. More cloud coverage, warmer temperatures will be back into the seventies tomorrow, but Thursday night and into Friday, that’s our next time frame for our next system that is going to arrive. Thursday will be an impact day showers and *** few isolated storms that will be non severe may develop late in the evening after sunset. And then as we head through the first half of the day on Friday. That’s when we’re expecting some severe storms for both Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley. The storm prediction center has our whole viewing area under that threat for severe storms. Again, it’s really going to be for the first half of the day on Friday, all modes of severe weather will be possible. *** slight risk for severe weather for the majority of Northwest Arkansas. The River Valley. That’s *** two out of five threat, but we now have an enhanced risk for *** viewing area. The far eastern half, that’s *** three out of five threat for severe storms. So stay close to our weather team. We will be tracking these storms for you as soon as they develop really starting late Thursday into Friday. We’ll detail out everything you need to know. Plus show you that 70 forecast coming up this morning on sunrise.
