No. 3 seed Gonzaga and No. 4 seed UConn square off in the Elite 8 of the 2023 NCAA Tournament on TBS
The No. 3 seed Gonzaga Bulldogs survived their Sweet 16 matchup with No. 2 seed UCLA and will now take on No. 4 seed UConn in the Elite 8 Saturday (March 25) for the right to advance to the Final Four.
The game will be televised on TBS at 8:49 p.m. ET/5:49 p.m. PT.
Gonzaga (31-5) used a clutch three-pointer late from Julian Strawther to earn a 79-76 victory over UCLA on Thursday and now has the chance to move on to the Final Four for the third time in school history.
UConn (28-8) advanced to the Elite Eight with a dominating 88-65 win against eighth-seeded Arkansas Thursday. This is the Huskies’ tenth time making it to the Elite 8 since the NCAA Tournament field expanded to 64 teams in 1985.
The winner of this game will advance to the Final Four next weekend where they will take on the winner of No. 2 seed Texas vs. No. 5 seed Miami for the chance to advance to the national championship on April 3.
