Reuniting with her family was a truly emotional moment for Love Island’s Sanam Harrinanan.

The reality star’s mum and best friend gave her the ultimate surprise when they entered the villa, along with Kai Fagan’s mum and dad.

Sanam’s loved ones were full of praise for how she’s handled herself throughout the series, but there was one person in particular she was keen to get the approval of.

She grew incredibly tearful when chatting to her mum about her late dad, asking whether he would’ve liked partner Kai as well.

‘He would’ve loved him,’ her pal revealed, and the flood gates absolutely opened.

‘It’s just hit me,’ Sanam confessed.

Viewers at home were equally as emotional, particularly those who have also lost their parents.

‘Sanam hoping her Dad’s looking down on her and proud of her. That got me & made me think of my Dad’, one person tweeted.

‘My heart broke when Sanam mentioned her dad’, wrote another.

Another wrote sweetly: ‘Sanam your dad would be so proud of you I’m sure’.

‘The conversation Sanam just had about her dad has actually just made me really emotional. I can relate’, one fan added.

Sanam went on to say in the Beach Hut that Kai is definitely welcome in her family.

‘You both look perfect,’ Kai’s dad told the couple.

‘With how you’ve handled everything in here, it’s really up to our standard, and Sanam as well,’ Sanam’s mum added.

Sanam was also full of praise.

‘Honestly, I think you’ve raised an amazing son,’ she told Kai’s parents.

‘I mean that. He’s honestly treated me with so much kindness and care, I can’t even fault you, there’s literally nothing about you,’ she added to her lover.
