Diego Pacheco wasted no time in setting his sights high after destroying Jack Cullen inside four rounds in Liverpool.
Pacheco was expected to receive a decent test from the tough Englishman, but those pre-fight prophecies were quicky extinguished as Pacheco went through his entire repertoire before Cullen was rescued.
With 168lbs currently seen as one of the best divisions in boxing with a number of talented fighters such as Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant sitting at the business end, Pacheco believes he’s ready to reach that level.
Speaking in the immediate aftermath of his victory, the Los Angeles fighter didn’t hold back when discussing where he wants to go next.
“I’m 18-0, 22 years old, I feel ready for anyone in the division, anyone in boxing,” said Pacheco when speaking to DAZN in the post-fight interview.
“I honestly feel like I can compete with anyone. I’m only getting stronger, smarter, a lot better. I’m super excited for the future and I’m ready for whoever is next.”
