Big East Tournament: Seton Hall falls to DePaul on overturn of goal-tending call in 1st round: 5 observations
Seton Hall #SetonHall
NEW YORK — Seton Hall came so close, but it wasn’t enough.
As Femi Odukale drove to the basket in the final seconds for a go-ahead layup, DePaul’s 6-foot-11 Nick Ongenda swatted it away. It was initially ruled goal-tending, which would’ve given The Hall the lead and the game, but upon review, it was called a blocked shot and DePaul escaped with a 66-65 win at Madison Square Garden.
