MADE In Chelsea star Tiffany Watson was forced to hit back after she was warned against drinking herbal tea.

The 29-year-old, who recently announced she was expecting her first child with husband Cameron McGeehan, shared a picture of herself enjoying a brew instead of a coffee.

She told her fans: “Miss my daily coffees but mint tea is good for now.”

One of her followers quickly commented with some unwarranted advice, writing:  “You look great! Be careful because apparently peppermint/mint tea in excess can cause really bad headaches :).”

Tiff, who was dressed in a set from Boux Avenue, was quick to reply, telling the woman: “Pretty sure one a day will do no harm…”

Others rushed to tell her she could drink coffee despite her making the decision to stop.

According to the NHS, expectant mothers should not drink more than 200mg per day of caffeine.

It also recommends you don’t drink more than four cups of herbal tea a day.

There is no medical evidence to suggest that drinking peppermint or mint tea can give you headaches.

Tiffany revealed her baby bump and happy news for the first time last week.

She told her followers:  “Baby McGeehan on the way.

“Pregnancy after miscarriage can come with a lot of anxiety and I’ve been having to take it one day at a time but very grateful for where we are on our journey ✨.”

Made In Chelsea viewers last year saw the star open up about losing a baby at eight weeks shortly after getting engaged to Cameron.

She broke down in tears, telling Olivia Bentley: “I think going through it was awful.

“Even though we weren’t trying, when you find out, you do become very attached to the baby. You’re mourning a loss of something. Something you never really had.”

Cameron – born in Kington-upon-Thames, just down the river from Chelsea – plays as a midfielder for Belgian First Division club KV Oostende.

The pair got engaged in Paris in October 2021 and married the following year in Surrey.
