The clip Smith shared shows the journalist asking Ryan, “Come 2024, the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where will you be?”

The longtime GOP leader responded, “It depends on who the nominee is. I’ll be here if it’s somebody not named Trump.”

Ryan went on to reiterate he’s “not interested in participating” in the convention even in his beloved home state of Wisconsin.

The former Speaker has previously stated his opinion on the former president’s third run, asserting during an October 2022 Fox Business interview, “So, I think anybody not named Trump, I think is so much more likely to win the White House for us.”
