Rhea Ripley Wins 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble, Sets Iron Man Record In The Process

Rhea Ripley is going to WrestleMania.

Entering the Royal Rumble at number 1, Ripley outlasted 29 other competitors to win her first Royal Rumble match.

The final four women included Ripley, Liv Morgan, who started the match with Ripley, Asuka, and Nikki Cross. She last eliminated Morgan with a headscissors off the apron after Asuka went to spray Ripley with the blue mist, but Ripley ducked, and the mist hit Liv in the eyes.

This Royal Rumble featured NXT names like Roxanne Perez, Zoey Stark, and Indi Hartwell. This match also featured the return of Michelle McCool and Nia Jax. Fans can see a complete list of surprise entrants here.

Ripley also set the record for the longest time spent in a Women’s Royal Rumble match, lasting 60 minutes and 3 seconds.

Also, Ripley makes history by becoming the first woman to win the match from the number one entry spot.

Now, Rhea Ripley can choose which WWE Women’s Championship she wants to challenge for at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, California.
