VIDEO: How the 1938 Day of Mourning protest still resonates with Aboriginal activists today

Almost a century ago, an unassuming hall in the heart of Sydney was the site of one of Australia’s first Aboriginal civil rights protests. It was held on January 26, 1938.

But while many are familiar with Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks, the stories of Australia’s civil rights pioneers are less well known. Reporter Ella Archibald-Binge and Producer Raveen Hunjan have this report.
