Stefon Diggs let his frustration out on the sidelines late in the Buffalo Bills’ 27-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals with their season coming to an end.

With just under seven minutes remaining in the game, CBS showed Diggs approaching Josh Allen on the sidelines. Diggs threw his hands up in the air as he said something to Allen. Allen did not look up during the interaction, but the frustration was apparent on Diggs.

You can see the interaction below.

Diggs, the Bills’ No. 1 receiver, led the team in targets (10) by a wide margin for Buffalo, but finished with just 35 yards on four receptions.

Sunday’s outburst was not the first time that Diggs showed his frustration on the sidelines this season. While Diggs and Allen are among the closest players on the team, Diggs has not been happy with his usage at times this season.

Post-game, Diggs’ frustration continued. Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reported that Diggs left the locker room before some of the coaches were even down the tunnel area at Highmark Stadium. Duke Johnson was able to coax Diggs into returning, but he left shortly thereafter.

Bills WR Stefon Diggs darted out of the locker room with all his stuff before some of the Bills coaches were even down to the tunnel area. Practice squad RB Duke Johnson stopped Diggs before he left the stadium and brought him back to the locker room. He left a few minutes later.

Allen defended Diggs post-game saying that the receiver is a fiery competitor who simply wants the ball. He added that the team needs to figure out a way of doing a better job of that this offseason.
