Girls Basketball: Castillo posts double-double for Roselle Catholic in win

Freshman Zahniya Castillo posted a double-double as Roselle Catholic picked up a 62-48 win over South Bronx Prep (NY), in Roselle.
Castillo finished with 13 points and 14 rebounds as Roselle Catholic (5-4) won its second straight game after snapping a four game losing streak.
Jasmin McKay (19 points, six assists, six steals, four rebounds, block) and Sidney Smith (19 points, five assists, two steals, rebound) also poured in double figures scoring efforts for the Lions.
Smith, also a freshman, scored 13 of her 19 points in the first half.
Roselle Catholic took a commanding 33-24 lead into the half and built on it in the second half and down the final stretch.
Saran Camara scored 19 points to lead South Bronx.
