The Arlington Renegades and seven other XFL teams took part in the XFL Supplemental draft on Sunday. The draft consisted of 17 rounds with a total of 90 players selected, players who were previously ineligible to be drafted or who were not selected during the XFL Draft proper in November.

The Renegades had the third overall pick in the snake-style draft format, and used it to select University of New Mexico offensive lineman Teton Saltes.

Saltes played for New Mexico from 2016-2021 and was named to the All-Mountain West third-team by Pro Football Focus in 2019. After not being selected in the 2021 NFL draft, Saltes was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent. Eventually released the following October, Saltes was drafted by the Michigan Panthers of the USFL and played in eight games, starting seven, during the 2021 season.

Other Renegades picks of note are Miami safety Jamal Carter in the second round (14th overall), Texas Tech LB Colin Schooler in the 11th round (74th overall), and Texas A&M CB Debione Renfro in the 12th round (79th overall). Arlington also selected OL Maea Teuhema of Keller High School in the seventh round and WR Quintin Vinzant of Richardson in the 13th.
