‘See you at the press conference’ – Conor McGregor gets response from Max Holloway after calling out his lookalike in viral video
Holloway #Holloway
Conor McGregor and Max Holloway shared a laugh after the Irishman called out a stranger who he mistook for his old rival.
McGregor and Holloway first met all the way back in 2013, with Notorious picking up a unanimous decision victory to continue his featherweight win streak that ultimately led to UFC gold.

Notorious beat Holloway in 2013
Notorious later picked up a second UFC title at lightweight, beating Eddie Alvarez to become the first fighter in company history to hold two belts simultaneously.
‘Blessed’ put together his own winning run that led to him winning the 145lb title and defending it three times before running into Alexander Volkanovski.
Notorious has been out of action since July 2021 due to injury but is now fully healed and is believed to be looking for an opponent ahead of his 2023 comeback fight.
So, he thought it was fate when he seemingly bumped into Holloway in public. However, he quickly realised it was just someone with a striking resemblance to his old rival.
But that didn’t stop McGregor from jokingly calling him out.
He said: “Oh my god, you guys. Oh my god, it’s Max Holloway, guys. Max, bro. What’s up, bro?”

After taking a brief break to focus on a picture of Sylvester Stallone as Rocky, the UFC superstar put the camera back on Holloway’s doppelganger and giggled as he issued him with a threat.
McGregor added: “You’re getting it, Max. You’re getting it, watch your back. See you for that second fight, yeah? See you at the press conference.”
The video quickly went viral and made its way back to Holloway who saw the funny side and seemingly agreed to make a rematch with McGregor happen.
He replied: “Hahahah see you at the press conference indeed”
Holloway is also looking for an opponent right now. After three defeats against Volkanovski, his career as a featherweight title challenger appears to be over.

The Hawaiian would certainly represent a big-name opponent for McGregor’s return fight but there would be a huge weight issue to overcome.
Since they first fought almost a decade ago, Mystic Mac has piled on the pounds and is now bigger than ever ahead of his planned run at welterweight.
Holloway is still the slender fighter he always was and the only time he has stepped up in weight he was beaten by Dustin Poirier was much bigger and stronger when they fought at UFC 236 in April 2019.
