President Joe Biden and his family celebrated Christmas Eve at the White House, where he attended evening Mass.

The White House said Biden and first lady Jill Biden had a traditional Christmas Eve Italian dinner following Mass. The president, first lady, and their children and grandchildren gathered in the executive mansion for a pasta dinner and a sleepover, both Biden family Christmas Eve customs.

“From the entire Biden family to yours: Merry Christmas, America,” Joe Biden’s Twitter account tweeted on Sunday.

In a tweet on Saturday night, the Bidens posted a photo as they finished decorating their Christmas tree. “Hope you and your loved ones are having a great Christmas Eve,” the tweet said.

‘IT’S GOING TO OK’: BIDENS READ TO HOSPITALIZED CHILDREN BEFORE CHRISTMAS

This is the second Christmas the Bidens are celebrating at the White House. In the past, the family has celebrated the holiday in Wilmington, Delaware.

“There is a certain stillness at the center of the Christmas story: a silent night when all the world goes quiet,” the president tweeted on Saturday morning. “And all the clamor, everything that divides us, fades away in the stillness of a winter’s evening. I wish you that peace this Christmas Eve.”

Earlier on Saturday, the Bidens visited children at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., an annual tradition that dates back more than 75 years.
