So You Think You Can Dance alum, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, passed away December 13 by suicide, and many SYTYCD and Dancing With The Stars stars have gathered to spread love to his family after his death. tWitch got his big break during his time on SYTYCD as a dancer then for future seasons as a judge. During his time on the dancing competition, he met his wife Allison Holker and the two shared three children; Zaia Boss, Maddox Boss, and Weslie Fowler.

Multiple SYTYCD stars who were alongside tWitch took to Instagram to pay tribute to the dancer. Ricky Ubeda, who won SYTYCD season 11, shared a photo of tWitch on his Instagram story captioning, “we honor you.” Another alum from the show, Jenna Johnson, shared the love by posting a video of the dancer, “may you forever be dancing in heaven.” Witney Carson, who participated in SYTYCD season 9 with tWitch, paid tribute and sent love to his wife and his children. Many other SYTYCD alum’s commented on the young dancers passing on Allison’s Instagram post.

Pros from SYTYCD were not the only ones to share kind words regarding the sad news. DWTS dancers have added in their tributes to support their former DWTS alum, Allison. Val Chmerkovskiy posted a long tribute on Instagram to the beloved dancer, “you were an example for me.” Former professional dancer, Cheryl Burke, also sent love to Allison and family; ending her Instagram post with “may your soul rest in peace my friend.” Judge Carrie Ann Inaba shared a lengthy message for tWitch, honoring how special of a man he was. Others joined the DWTS pros by commenting on Allison’s video, mainly to send love and condolences to the family.

There is no surprise how much of an impact tWitch made on the dancing community and to his fans. The love being spread in honor of him is truly heartwarming to witness. He was a bright spirit who made a name for himself ever since he started his journey of fame. It is touching to see how many have gathered together to mourn his passing and share positive memories of the dancer.

As for tWitch’s family, all the love and condolences are being sent their way as they grieve during this time. Allison has made it clear they just want privacy right now, and hopefully they will be able to receive that. At least they can take some comfort in the fact that those who are close to her or tWitch are by her side. TWitch was truly an amazing person and will be greatly missed by So You Think You Can Dance fans and all those he inspired.
