Even though there are just three games on Tuesday’s NBA slate, the NBA DFS player pool is still ripe with high-end options. Nikola Jokic, Anthony Davis, LeBron James and Luka Doncic will all be in action, giving Fantasy owners plenty of options to splurge on. But rostering multiple of these high-priced superstars also means you’ll have to search for value elsewhere to complete your NBA DFS lineups.

Value comes in the form of someone who is expected to outproduce his listed price tags on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings. Perhaps someone like Killian Hayes could fit the bill as he’s scored in double-figures in five straight. Hayes should remain the Pistons’ starter with Cade Cunningham (shin) out, but what other players are in similar advantageous positions like Hayes? Before making any NBA DFS picks, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with over $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Monday, he highlighted Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard as one of his top NBA DFS picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Nembhard exploded for 31 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds, setting career-highs in all three categories as he returned 64.5 points on DraftKings and 59.1 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to NBA action on Tuesday and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Tuesday, December 6

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks is Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell, who is listed at $8,700 on DraftKings and $8,800 on FanDuel. Mitchell has been stellar in his first season in Cleveland, averaging a career-high of 28.4 points. He’s also contributing 4.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 1.4 steals and ranks seventh in the league with 85 made three-pointers.

The Cavs take on the Lakers tonight and Mitchell dropped 33 points on LA when he saw it earlier this season. Dating back to last season when he was with Utah, Mitchell has scored at least 29 points in three straight games versus the Lakers. Cleveland comes in after having last played on Sunday and having one day of rest has proven to be beneficial to Mitchell. He’s averaging 30.3 points with a single day of rest (12 games) compared to 26.2 points on any other rest schedule (10 games).

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Lakers guard Dennis Schroder ($4,100 on DraftKings and $4,800 on FanDuel). Schroder didn’t make his season debut until the Lakers’ 14th game due to thumb surgery. Thus, he’s played just eight games this year but has started each of the last five, averaging 29.9 minutes, 9.6 points and 5.6 assists in his starts.

Schroder’s numbers may not jump off the page, but he’s had previous success against tonight’s opponent in Cleveland. Schroder had a 28-point outing against the Cavs last year which is his fourth-most points in any game over the last three seasons. He also could have lots of good looks at the rim as defensive force Jarrett Allen (back) has missed the last five games and is questionable.
