An episode of Sister Wives will show Robyn Brown having to be hospitalized for her COVID-19 sickness, proving her fears were legitimate. Viewers have taken a stance against Robyn and Kody in recent years, as many feel both are manipulative. However, their fears about the global pandemic were understandable, regardless of how audiences feel about them personally.

A new episode of Sister Wives will show Robyn in a very vulnerable position as she shares her experience of surviving a bad case of COVID-19. Many fans have mocked her and Kody’s strict rules that were based on the government’s advice, but in reality, the couple had every right to worry as the virus and its variants were unknown at the time. Robyn shared that, after a week, she was severely struggling to breathe, leaving her no choice but to go to the hospital. Kody was left feeling as if his wife might die.

While many Sister Wives fans will undoubtedly find fault with Robyn’s tears, the fear seemed genuine. Robyn sobbed as she shared she didn’t want the last time she said goodbye to her children to look like this. At the time Robyn fell ill, there were 51,000 cases within Flagstaff, and a vaccine had only just been rolled out. Robyn shared her experience, saying she waited for a bed for over seven hours and felt like she was wasting away.

While there is no doubt that Robyn was ill, Kody seemed to be playing his side effects up for the camera. The patriarch shared he wished he had admitted himself to the hospital since he hadn’t been sleeping well and could have possibly used a chest X-ray. Sister Wives fans did find fault in his ideas since the hospital was already at max capacity, and it was selfish for him to want to also be checked in just to be closer to Robyn. Viewers were aggravated that Kody even had the notion of playing sick, as, during the worst times, people were dying in hallways, and nurses had to make decisions about who lived and died because of the scarcity of resources.

In this season of Sister Wives, fans have watched Kody feel disrespected and violated over the loss of his wife, Christine, who decided to divorce him. Robyn has been the only wife consistently by the father of 18’s side as he navigates the waters of bitterness and anger. Robyn falling ill showed his wives and viewers that Kody truly only cares for his fourth wife and really should be living monogamously with her.
