Ravens inside linebacker Patrick Queen suffered a thigh bruise in Sunday’s 10-9 win over the Denver Broncos at M&T Bank Stadium.

With 7:24 left in the fourth quarter, Queen attempted to tackle Broncos running back Latavius Murray when defensive lineman Justin Madubuike ran into him. The 2020 first-round draft pick immediately grabbed his thigh in pain before being looked at by team trainers. Surrounded by teammates, Queen was carted off the field before being ruled out.

After the game, coach John Harbaugh said Queen suffered a thigh bruise and that X-rays were negative.

“That was very good news for us,” Harbaugh said.

Queen has been playing at a high level this season, leading the Ravens in tackles while adding four sacks, an interception and a forced fumble. He recorded nine tackles, including one for loss, before exiting Sunday’s game.

Queen’s exit continued an injury-filled day for the Ravens (8-4), who needed a late touchdown drive to escape with a victory. Quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered a knee injury in the final seconds of the first quarter and was quickly ruled out, but Harbaugh said the 2019 NFL Most Valuable Player will not be sidelined for the rest of the season. Offensive lineman Patrick Mekari also suffered a toe injury in the first quarter, forcing the Ravens to rely on rookie offensive tackle Daniel Faalele, a fourth-round pick. Harbaugh said Mekari should be OK.

With 4:56 left in the fourth quarter, rookie tight end Isaiah Likely suffered a shoulder injury after making a 5-yard catch. The fourth-round pick was helped off the field by trainers and was listed as questionable to return, but he checked back into the game and picked up a crucial first down with a 12-yard catch on the Ravens’ go-ahead touchdown drive in the final minutes.

Ravens wide receiver Demarcus Robinson and rookie safety Kyle Hamilton also briefly left the game with injuries before returning. Hamilton missed last week’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars with a knee injury and was limited in practice before being ruled questionable to play.
