Wallen’s last appearance in the Valley was a KNIX Secret Show in late September. In April, Wallen headlined Country Thunder Arizona 2022, drawing the weekend’s largest crowd.

Wallen was supposed to headline the 2021 festival but canceled all his summer dates and Country Thunder Arizona after video surfaced of the singer directing the N-word and other profanities at a carload of friends outside his Nashville home.

Despite the controversy, Wallen’s latest album, “Dangerous: The Double Album,” topped the Billboard 200 album chart for 10 consecutive weeks while sending “7 Summers” to the top of Billboard’s Country Songs chart and earning more than 7 billion streams.

The triple-platinum album topped the Billboard album charts for 2021 and picked up Album of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

At the awards show, Wallen, who entered a rehab program and went several months without performing live, thanked “everyone who has shown me grace along the way.”

Wallen named his One Night at a Time Tour after one of three new songs dropping at midnight on Friday, Dec. 2 on his One Thing At A Time – Sampler: “One Thing At A Time”; “Tennessee Fan,” paying homage to Wallen’s east Tennessee upbringing; and “Days That End In Why.”
