Wikitree, a news outlet based in South Korea, dropped a bombshell allegation about Chuu in March, saying that the singer had sued her management company to stop her contract before being let go by LOONA. Wikitree claimed that the singer had sued her management company to have her contract stopped.
The star “partially” won the legal battle against the firm, as reported by the Korea JoongAng Daily.
It was decided “not to create issues with the group’s development or cause anxiety to fans” by not responding to rumors about Chuu’s engagement with the group, according to Blockberry Creative’s statement on Chuu’s dismissal.
