Mark Allen recorded a stunning comeback to beat Ding Junhui in the final of the UK Championship 2022.
From 6-2 down, Allen won eight of the next nine frames to triumph 10-7 to cap off a remarkable week of snooker.
Zhao Xintong had been looking to defend the title he won for the first time in 2021 but suffered a shock opening round UK Championship exit at the hands of Sam Craigie.
Ronnie O’Sullivan, whose seven titles give him the record number of wins at this event, was thrashed 6-0 by Ding Junhui in the quarterfinals, experiencing his first whitewash in a Triple Crown event.

The UK Championship 2022 took place at the Barbican Centre in York, where it first appeared in 2001.
The tournament has previously taken place in Blackpool, Bournemouth, Preston, Telford and Milton Keynes.
