Former V8 driver Renee Gracie breaks silence on 2015 ‘P***y Wagon’ saga

Former V8 driver Renee Gracie has broken her silence on the infamous “P***y Wagon” saga, revealing she was encouraged to publicly condemn the uncouth remark.

When Gracie and Simona de Silvestro formed an all-female Bathurst entry in 2015, Holden star Dave Reynolds came under scrutiny for labelling them the “P***y Wagon”.

Five years later, Gracie has revealed she was pushed by Supercars to condemn Reynolds’ comments, despite thinking it was funny.

“I didn’t even know he had said it, but I was sat down and told that I would have to comment on it,” Gracie said, as reported by The Daily Telegraph.

“I was told Supercars were not going to let it slide, and they were not happy with it.

“It was during a time when a lot of footy players were mistreating women and they reacted because of it.

“They wanted to take a stance and made it clear that he would be made an example of. I didn’t have a choice in what I said. I just did what they asked me to do.”

Reynolds was fined $25,000 for the remark, a punishment which Gracie believed was “harsh”.

“They were trying to prove a point … Dave just made a joke. He is a great guy and one of the best in the category. The sport would be bland and boring if he wasn’t around,” Gracie said.

“He was just trying to be funny and, to be honest, I did think it was funny. Everyone knows he means well and sometimes you get that crazy weird stuff.”

Ironically, Gracie now calls her own car the P***y Wagon as a tribute to Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill film.

Since leaving motorsport, Gracie is making bank as an adult entertainer, selling photographs and videos for $12.95 a month on adult subscription website onlyfans.com.

The Daily Telegraph reported she currently earns up to $500,000 every month on the pornographic website.

“It has been the best thing I have done in my whole life,” Gracie told News Corp Australia in June.

“It has put me in a financial position I could never have dreamt of and I really enjoy it.

“I am fine with whatever they want to call me. I am earning good money and I am comfortable with where I am at.”

Although she struggled to make a living off motorsports, Gracie is confident should she race again, her new-found fame will be a blessing.

“A few years ago I had to scratch around to find sponsors and plead with them to back me,” Gracie said.

“Now if I go back with my own team I shouldn’t have any problems at all.

“The adult entertainment industry is huge. Can you imagine how many websites and clubs will want to have their logo on my car? I won’t be able to fit them all on.”
