J.R. Smith was celebrating the Lakers’ title shirtless before the game even ended

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat, 106-93, in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, giving LeBron James his fourth NBA title and a 17th for the Lakers franchise.
While Friday’s Game 5 went down to the wire, Sunday’s game was an entirely different story. The game was so lopsided that J.R. Smith had his shirt off before the game even ended.
You may remember that back in 2016, Smith basically went an entire week without a shirt to celebrate the Cavaliers’ championship-winning comeback against the Warriors. Smith was absolutely ready to keep that tradition going once again.
With 15 seconds left in the game, we could see Smith celebrating with his jersey nowhere to be seen. It was glorious.
He also touched the Larry O’Brien Trophy first because we would have it no other way.
If history is any indication, we probably won’t see Smith in a shirt for quite some time.
