Chris Moyles is one of the stars this year who have bravely said goodbye to their home comforts in favour of a far less uncomfortable experience Down Under in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.

And while viewers of the hit ITV show may best know the 48 year old for his work as a radio DJ, having spent eight years hosting the Radio 1 Breakfast show and seven years on Radio X, Chris isn’t just known for his time on the airwaves.

In fact, eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted the TV personality’s array of talents after he introduced himself earlier this week.

Besides calling himself the “best broadcaster of my generation”, Chris also revealed that he’d got a knack for acting and had starred in Andre Lloyd Webber’s musical Jesus Christ Superstar in 2012 and 2013.

Playing the role of King Herod, the former Radio 1 host starred alongside Spice Girls singer Mel C as well as comedian and musician Tim Minchin.

Elsewhere, in 2016 Chris made his West End debut and appeared in Friends actor Matthew Perry’s play The End of Longing.

During the play, Chris took on the role of a barman and looked smart as he sported his costume which was made up of a black waistcoat, crisp white shirt and a bow tie.

Evidently overjoyed by his West End appearance, Chris took to Twitter at the time to write: “I am absolutely not tweeting from the side of the stage during my west end debut…”

Meanwhile, away from the world of acting, Chris has also turned his hand to singing.

Back in 2006, he appeared on The X Factor: Battle of the Stars where he showed off his vocals and came in third placing, losing to EastEnders’ Lucy Benjamin.

Then in 2009, the broadcaster released an album of parody cover songs and collaborated with the likes of Calvin Harris and Ricky Wilson.

But despite his acting and singing talents, viewers of I’m A Celeb will have seen Chris attempt to convince fellow campmate Owen Warner that he has another trick up his sleeve in the form of dancing.

As a result, Owen has been dubbed ‘the new Joey Essex’ by some fans after his rib-tickling interactions with his fellow campmates have seen him poke himself in the eye, become engrossed by creepy crawlies and even ask Boy George what his name is.
