Darwin Nunez claim made as former Liverpool midfielder makes Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres comparison
Nunez #Nunez
Jamie Redknapp believes there is a ‘lot more to come’ from Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez after he made the switch from Benfica to the Premier League in the summer transfer window.
Nunez could end up costing Liverpool a club-record £85 million and has shown glimpses of the chaos and talent he can bring to Jurgen Klopp ‘s side.
The Uruguayan came in for criticism for his start to life at Liverpool, but now has seven goals in his 15 appearances for the Reds as he settles into the Premier League.

Redknapp was talking before Liverpool’s away match with Tottenham Hotspur about the start ex-Reds strikers Luis Suarez and Fernando Torres made compared to Nunez.
“He’s done okay. He has a lot of rawness about him and there are still a lot of improvements to be made,” said Redknapp. “Sometimes when strikers come to Liverpool, they hit the ground running.
“You think of Suarez, Torres and other big signings, but I think there is a lot more to come. He’s fast and chases the ball into great areas. His hold up play could improve but he will get a lot of goals. I thought he was the best player on the pitch against Arsenal.”
